NORWICH – The Chenango County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the proposed salaries of department officers prior to approving them for the coming year’s budget.

The board has proposed salary increases for 27 county positions, 23 of which are county board members.

The flat annual salaries of county officers include:

Commissioner of Social Services: $104,000

Director of Public Works: $93,600

Personnel Officer: $89,989

Commissioner of Elections (2) ea: 64,119

Board of Supervisors (23) ea: $16,767
