ONEONTA – Coming off an outstanding win against Windsor, the Norwich Purple Tornado golf team traveled to the Oneonta Country Club to take on the Yellowjackets. Norwich came out on top with the lowest score of the season thus far, 205-221 in Wednesday’s STAC matchup.

It was a strong game for both Jacob Dowdall and Brevin Bennett on Oneonta’s par 36 front nine. Dowdall led the Purple Tornado with a low 37 as Bennett followed with a 38. Matthew Brunick added a 40 while Michael Brunick, Gavin Burrell, and Julien Smith all finished with a 45.
