EARLVILLE – Back by popular demand, local musician Reyna Stagnaro is facilitating a three-part Songwriting Series and Showcase at the Earlville Opera House (EOH) this fall. Classes take place on Saturdays, September 14, October 5 and 19 from 1 to 3 p.m.

You can register for just one, or even two, or all three workshops for a bundle price of $40 or $15 per class. You do not have to take the workshops in sequence, so join us at any time in the series.

This showcase is open to all levels and is a great opportunity to begin your songwriting journey or bring your established songwriting to the next level. Also, it lets you network with other talented musicians, learn new techniques, advance your skills, and participate in our Songwriter Showcase on the main stage of EOH's beautiful, historic theatre on November 2 at 7 p.m.

Each workshop will include discussion and sharing of original songs, writing exercises to inspire new songs, and networking among participants. Songwriting two and three will also focus on collaborative writing and performance skills in preparation for the Songwriter Showcase.
Arts Education is an important component of EOH programming and this offering is a special opportunity for those interested in songwriting and creating original music.

Reyna will guide the class, offering helpful tips and techniques to grow your craft. A writing exercise will inspire new songs and group discussion, and networking will enhance the experience. All participants are encouraged to perform in the Songwriter Showcase.

You do not have to play an instrument to sign up. There is no pressure to present a song or perform in the showcase, but we've always had full participation in the past, even those who were hesitant at first, because it's a very inspiring, supportive, and welcoming setting and group. We all learn from each other, and this creates a unique, bonding experience.
