NORWICH — The Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich, will be kicking off their 2024/25 performance season with "Dolly! And Her All Star Band," a Dolly Parton tribute show, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 28.
Dolly Parton impersonator Natasha Neely said she's been bringing the good vibes and good music of Dolly to the stage for the past 12 years.
"My Dolly tribute show is a 90-minute show of songs written by Dolly, and I tell stories about the songs and how they came to be, and I tell stories about Dolly’s life growing up in the Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee," said Neely. "I bring my band with me. We’ve got some fiddle in the band and some country instrumentation. I just like to spread the good Dolly vibes and share the incredible songs and the gifts that she’s given us in music as a singer and a songwriter."
After the performance, Neely will be available in the lobby to meet guests, take pictures, and give autographs.
Tickets are on sale now at ChenangoArts.org, and Chenango Arts Council Administrative Assistant Mary Beth Miller said they're going fast.
