CHENANGO COUNTY - Commerce Chenango is gearing up to celebrate their annual Membership Appreciation Event on Thursday, September 26.

Members are invited to come enjoy an evening of free food, beverage and entertainment to thank them for their support throughout the year.

At this event, Commerce Chenango recognizes an individual member who goes above and beyond in their support of the organization. This person embodies the spirit of the membership, taking advantage of opportunities, donating their time to volunteer at events, and championing Commerce Chenango initiatives.

When selecting the awardee this year, one name came to Commerce Chenango President & CEO Sal Testani’s mind: Jessica Moquin.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have a member like Jessica, who is passionate about and dedicated to Chenango County. Her support makes the mission of Commerce Chenango possible and has a significant positive impact on our vibrant membership,” he said.

Moquin has been the Director of the Chenango County Historical Society since the start of 2019. She has served on the board of Commerce Chenango, is always the first to volunteer at an event or donate a gift basket for a raffle, is a passionate Commerce Chenango newsletter reader and, most importantly, a faithful Commerce Chenango event attendee.

“Commerce Chenango plays a tremendous role in connecting our communities, and I've been able to develop amazing collaborations thanks to membership in this organization,” Moquin states. “I’m grateful for this honor, and for every opportunity made possible by Commerce Chenango!”

The Member Excellence Award will be presented at the Commerce Chenango Membership Appreciation Event on Thursday, September 26th at 4:30pm at the Rentals to Go Ranch on East River Road.

This annual event will celebrate Commerce Chenango’s Membership with food from Nina’s Pizzeria, beverages from Hidden Springs Brewhouse, Live Music by the Liuzzo Duo, and tours of the RTG Longhorn Cattle ranch. Registrations must be completed online.

Four representatives from each Commerce Chenango Member will be admitted for free, and each additional member will be charged an admittance fee of $25. Non-Members are welcome to attend and will be charged $50.
