GREENE – It was an exciting night at Greene high school as the Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team honored its seniors and pulled off a 1-0 victory against UV/GMU in a competitive matchup. Both teams made solid improvements and played great defense all-around.
UV/GMU showed good possession in the first 25 minutes of play with great hustles and breakaways from Denzel Peter and good pass plays, but resulted in offside calls. Greene’s Kloden Rapp also showed movement, but the Storm’s Jacob Prentice was able to put pressure on and steal the ball.
