OXFORD — The Oxford Memorial Library, located at 8 Forthill Park in Oxford, will be hosting their annual book sale from October 5 through October 12 in the Community Room.
The sale will be held during the library's normal operating hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
Library Clerk Gillian Mulder said they will have books, DVDs, and CDs for all ages available for sale.
"We have plenty of books," she said. "We also have books on CD, DVDs, and across all genres."
"We do have a lot more DVDs than normal right now because we just made some big changes to our DVD collection," she added.
There are no set prices for items. Instead, visitors are welcome to take as much as they'd like for a single cash donation of their choice.
"People can come in and take whatever they want and then give us whatever kind of cash donation," explained Director Nancy Wilcox. "Some people will come in and pick out a book and give us five dollars. Another person will come in and fill up a bag and give us a quarter; that’s okay! That’s the whole point."
