ENDWELL – The Norwich Purple Tornado golf team is preparing for the Class B and STAC tournaments, which are quickly approaching. Norwich faced Maine-Endwell on the road on Monday, where they fell in a tight 188-203 match. The loss is their first of the season, but keeps their undefeated league record in tack. M-E is the defending class A champion and Norwich is the defending class B champion, so the match was hard fought for certain.

“The team did ok all playing the course for the first time,” Norwich head coach Dave Branham said. “I’m proud of them. They acted professionally and were gracious in defeat.”
