Boys Soccer:

Greene picks up big win over Groton

GROTON – The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team is on a three-game win streak as they defeated Groton with a big 8-2 victory on Monday afternoon. Kloden Rapp led the Trojans with four goals and had one assist. Paxton McCumiskey, Judd Dutcher, Grant Leonard, and Jacob Acevedo all scored one goal as Dutcher and Jack Rice both picked up two assists. Greene improves to 7-3 on the season and plays a tough league game at Oxford coming up this evening at 6:30 p.m. Oxford currently leads the MAC with a 6-2, 3-0 record.

Girls Soccer:

B-G sneaks by Delhi

DELHI – The Bainbridge-Guilford girls’ soccer team held on to a 1-0 win against Delhi on Monday afternoon. The lone goal came off a free kick from Jayslin Henderson that Breegan George headed into the goal. The Bobcats will host a tough Unatego team, that suffered their first loss of the season, on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

B-G currently leads the MAC with a 7-2, 4-0 record, ahead of both UV and Unatego.
