BAINBRIDGE – On Tuesday, the Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville cross country teams hosted a MAC league meet at General Clinton Park, home of the Canoe Regatta. The meet featured local Norwich, Unadilla Valley/GMU, Deposit/Hancock, Sidney, Schenevus, Edmeston/Morris, and Delhi - South Kortright. Delhi-South Kortright won both the boys and girls meet. The BGAH girls took second while the boys finished third behind Sidney.

Boys:
Owen Degan led the Bears boys’ team with a ninth place finish with a time of 19:15. Thomas Joyce took 13th place with a time of 20:08 as Rowan Beasinger finished 16th. Ethan Beardslee came away with 25th place while Connor Rowe ran for a 33rd place finish. Charlie Buccino (41st), Peter Blance (42nd), and Zach Reynolds (43rd) also ran for the Bears among 43 male runners.
Girls:
Maddie Ingram earned a fifth place finish to lead the BGAH girls’ team with a time of 21:22. Jalyn Winans, Vanessa Brazee, and Lelaenia Baldwin all followed one another respectively in eighth, ninth, and 10th place. Laila Williams finished 16th with Ruth Wilson in 19th and Ariana Florance in 28th. Loegan Barnard (30th), Amber Kolb (33rd) and Mackenzie Steeves (34th) rounded out the BGAH female runners.
