EARLVILLE — The Earlville Opera House (EOH), located at 18 East Main Street in Earlville, will be hosting their annual paranormal tours from 7 to 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26.
The tours are led by seasoned paranormal investigator Kenny Harris, who has been leading the yearly investigations of the EOH for around six years.
The night will begin in the Arts Cafe, where Harris will go over all of the equipment he uses to detect and communicate with spirits. Then the investigation will move into the historic 1892 theater to see what spirits are still enjoying the art and music at the Earlville Opera House.
"It’s just an opportunity for a night of fun. Maybe a little education and exploration of what paranormal possibilities could be here at the Earlville Opera House," explained EOH Executive Director Michelle Connelly. "We have had many different experiences. People experience things in different ways: some people see things, some people hear things."
Tickets for the paranormal tours are $20 per person and available at EarlvilleOperaHouse.com/paranormal-tours.
Connelly said they first discovered the EOH may be haunted after Harris spent the night there to finish setting up an art exhibit several years ago. Over the course of the night, Harris reported hearing laughing, music, and footsteps coming from the theater, and even felt a presence walk past him.
