OXFORD – The Oxford Blackhawks and the Unadilla Valley Storm volleyball teams faced off one final time this season at the Oxford High School gymnasium. Oxford won all three sets with scores of 25-3, 25-12, and a tough third match of 25-18. UV showed improvement in the third set with multiple ties and lead changes. UV was once up 13-11 and then 16-14 before Oxford tied the set at 17 and powered through with the final eight points.
Oxford’s Kassidy Miller led the way with 17 assists, six digs, four kills, and four aces while Emerson LaMonica had 11 digs and three assists. Margaret Rovente picked up 10 kills and four aces as Reagan Long had seven digs and four aces and Abby Stone with nine digs.
