CHENANGO COUNTY - The Chenango County Board of Elections will be taking voter registration forms through Saturday, October 26, 2024. You must be a United States citizen and 18 years old. You can preregister at 16 or 17, but cannot vote until you are 18.

You must be a resident of New York State and the county for at least 30 days before the election

You must not be in prison for a felony conviction or adjudged mentally incompetent by a court

or claim the right to vote elsewhere.

New Yorkers have three option when choosing to register to vote online at the New York State Board of Elections portal.

In person at the Chenango County Board of Elections, located at 5 Court Street, Norwich, NY 13815, or at the DMV or any state agency-based registration center by mail.

For the November 5, 2024 Presidential Elections, voters may update their information, such as a name change, address, or party enrollment through these same three options, but the Chenango County Board of Elections must receive these changes no later than October 21, 2024.
