ONEONTA – After defeating Sidney in the MAC semi-finals, the Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team hosted Unatego in the MAC championship game, held at the Wright Soccer Fields in Oneonta. Oxford fell 4-1 to a Unatego team who has seen many MAC title appearances, including a win in 2022, before Unadilla Valley defeated Sidney in 2023. Oxford played hard all season to make it to the league title game and also made their community proud.
