GREENE – Greene’s football team fell to 2-4 on the season in a 60-0 blowout out loss to Trumansburg, Friday night at Greene.
The Trojans gave up 44 points in the first half, giving up a safety, and two late first-half scores to put the game well out of reach.
“They were just much more physical than we were,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton, who noted he had players ailing due to illness before the game, and he lost more players during the game to injury. “It was just a difficult situation for everybody. …I hope we can get our players healthy in time for next week’s game.”
The Blue Raiders’ Aidan Clarke-Cabezas had a triple threat performance in the victory.
Clarke-Cabezas had rushing and receiving touchdowns in the first half, and he threw a touchdown pass in the second half.
