NORWICH — Recently, SUNY Morrisville Norwich students prepared for their history research project by touring the Chenango County Historical Museum.

SUNY Morrisville Norwich English and Communications adjunct Instructor Michael Foor-Pessin said the students in his “Introduction to Public Speaking” will conduct college-level research on a local historical topic and later present their findings to members of the community.

Students Ethan Guzewich, Logan Waters, Kaitlyn Finch and Cora Ashcraft chose to research local history in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
