OXFORD — The Go-Won-Go Chapter of The National Society of the Daughters of The American Revolution have partnered with the Guernsey Memorial Library and the Oxford Memorial Library to collect personal hygiene items for our veterans at the New York State Veterans’ Home in Oxford.

Both libraries have set out boxes to collect donations. They will be collecting items until November 15, and they will then be delivered to the Veterans’ Home.

Personal hygiene items include items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, mouth wash, soap, body wash, combs, brushes, deodorant, tissue packets, and hand lotion.

The Go-Won-Go members would like to thank everyone for donating items as a way to say thank you to our veterans, and would also like to thank the staff at the NYS Veterans’ Home here in Oxford for all they do for our veterans.
