“It was a great night to open up our new stadium, “ S-E head coach Steve Franklin said. “It was a great atmosphere to feed off of.”

APW got the ball to start the game and got into S-E territory with a big run with a touchdown-saving tackle from the Timberwolves’ Justin Race. APW could not capitalize on that drive as Aiden Kiehn sacked the quarterback on a big fourth down. S-E took over at their own 37 yard line and overcame a few fourth downs with good runs by Race on the ground. Race and Nick Hull swapped carries to bring S-E to the goal line, where quarterback Hadden Price punched it in for an eight-yard score to mark the first touchdown on the new turf.
