NORWICH — The Norwich Family YMCA and the Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) celebrated the spooky season by holding a Halloween decorating contest for homes and businesses in the City of Norwich.
Stephanie Gooley won the house decorating category with her display of all things Halloween. Her home was decorated with several oversized and life-size skeletons, pumpkins, clowns, an inflatable zombie hand, and spooky lighting.
Teasers Hair and Nail Studio won the business decorating category with their aesthetic approach of vintage, monochrome decorations. The display included black and white pumpkins, black florals, a vintage typewriter, and witchy signage.
Both winners will receive a gift certificate to Moi's Center City Bistro, courtesy of the Norwich BID.
