OXFORD - The Oxford Farmers’ Market will move indoors for the start of its 11th Winter Market Season this Saturday, November 2.
This cozy indoor Market features an abundance of locally grown and produced food, exquisitely-made artisan crafts, and live music performed this week by musician and composer, George Anderson.
Twice a month, November through April, the Market provides access to some of the best local foods available, Indoors on the first Saturday of every month and through their Online Marketplace on both the first and third Saturdays.
Locally raised and produced food is more nutritious and more delicious, and also supports a truly local economy of farmers, producers and artisans. Vendors selling indoors and through the Online Marketplace this week will be offering loads of fresh seasonal produce; locally raised beef, pork, lamb and even turkeys to order for Thanksgiving; local cheeses and dairy; fresh-baked goods and granola, local syrup and honey; jams, local hard ciders, and fine artisan crafts.
The Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market is held from 10 am - 12:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, 16 Fort Hill Park. Enter on Merchant Street across from the Middle School parking lot where there are lots of great parking spots.
