BAINBRIDGE - The New York State Police at Sidney are investigating reports of Halloween candy tampered with with razor blades, reportedly collected in the Village of Bainbridge on Halloween night.
Authorities are urging parents to take extra precautions by double-checking all candy their children collected. Parents should closely inspect wrappers and contents for signs of tampering and remain vigilant to protect children’s safety.
Officials advise that any potentially tampered with candy should not be consumed. If suspicious items are found, immediately contact the New York State Police. Anyone with information that may help identify those responsible should call (607) 561-7400.
