NORWICH - The Norwich Police Department, in collaboration with the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, announced the arrest of an Edmeston man following an investigation into narcotics trafficking in Norwich.

John Eric Williams, 59, faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, with one count of second-degree for alleged methamphetamine possession, a Class A-II felony. Two other counts are in the third degree for allegedly possessing fentanyl and crack cocaine, Class B felonies.
