CHENANGO COUNTY - Commerce Chenango has launched a comprehensive new website that unifies its five major organizations under one digital roof, making it easier for businesses and residents to access community resources.
The redesigned commercechenango.com now serves as a central site for the Chamber of Commerce, Chenango County Tourism, the Chenango Foundation, Chenango County Industrial Development Agency, and Development Chenango Corporation.
As part of the upgrade, the website now incorporates Chenango County Tourism. The Tourism site was previously hosted on a separate site. This revision highlights the natural connection between tourism and local commerce while streamlining access to these services.
Some key features of the new website include: an interactive community calendar where website users can submit events, a Commerce Chenango member directory, comprehensive Chenango County demographic data and economic resources, real-time social media updates, and available loans and financial opportunities.
The homepage demonstrates Commerce Chenango's growing influence, featuring a rotating display of new members. Each time a new member is added, their business name is added to the graphic. 115 new members have been added in the past year alone. The website also includes recognition of Commerce Chenango’s 2024 major sponsors.
"This website relaunch represents our commitment to increasing community engagement and making Chenango County a better place to visit, work, and live," said Commerce Chenango President and CEO Sal Testani.
Commerce Chenango would like to thank Chamber Data Systems, NBT Bank, Mike Ford of Eagle’s Eye Photography, Empire State Development, and their 2024 sponsors for making these revisions possible.
