CHENANGO COUNTY - Assemblyman Joseph Angelino (R,C-Norwich) is reminding residents about the benefits of the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). This program can help cover heating costs for those who need it. If eligible, you may receive one regular HEAP benefit per program year and could also be eligible for emergency HEAP benefits if you are in danger of running out of fuel or having your utility service shut off. “With winter quickly approaching, that means colder weather, which can be a tough time for those struggling. That’s where HEAP comes in, this essential program helps New Yorkers stay warm through the winter months. I encourage anyone who meets eligibility criteria to take advantage of this program,” said Angelino.

Angelino represents the 121st  Assembly District, which includes parts of Broome County, Delaware County, Madison County, Chenango County and Otsego County.
