NORWICH – After two recent away meets, the Norwich YMCA Dolphins are still going strong with over one minute of collective times drops at each meet, including a dual meet against the Auburn Stingrays and at the Turkey Turn Invitational hosted by the Fulton Speed Demons.

The Dolphins nine-10 girls age group consisting of Adeline Vazquez, Nora Diefenbacher, Reigan Aikins, Kate Hull, Milena Beltz, and Kennedy Foulds continued to rack up points and win their age group at both meets. Many swimmers continue to improve and explore different events and strokes displaying their increasing strength.

“As coaches, we love to give all of our swimmers opportunities, like the Turkey Turn Invitational, to compete. They learn how to mentally focus for large format meets and get opportunities to try different events.”

Such events this time included swims by Reigan Aikins in the 200 yard freestyle, Milena Beltz in the 100 backstroke, and Kris Deuel in the 1000 yard freestyle.

The Dolphins are back in action at home this Saturday, November 23 against Oneonta.
