NORWICH — The Norwich Theater Company, Inc. (NTCI) will be kicking off their 15th season with a production of "Scrooge: The Musical." The show will hit the stage at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7, as well as at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 8 in the Martin W. Kappel Theater at the Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich.
"'Scrooge: The Musical' follows the very well-known plot of 'A Christmas Carol.' It tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, who is the most miserly miser and miserable man you can think of, and he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future, who teach him the true meaning of Christmas," explained NTCI President and "Scrooge" Director Marty Kuhn.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children aged 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at NorwichTheaterCompany.org; in person at Service Pharmacy in Norwich, New Berlin, or Sherburne; at the Chenango Arts Council in Norwich; and at the door, seating permitting.
Season tickets are also available for $50 each, and provide admittance to all three shows in the NTCI performance season. In addition to "Scrooge," the Norwich Theater Company will also be performing "Terms of Endearment" in March and "Nunsense: The Mega Musical" in July.
