OXFORD - The Oxford Farmers’ Market will be hosting their seasonal Artisans' Market this Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., as part of a Village-wide Small Business Saturday Shop Hop, with ten participating businesses and five local eateries and taverns. The Artisan Market will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, 16 Fort Hill Park (enter on Merchant Street, across from the Middle School parking lot).

This special Market will showcase local gifts by local hands, with a dozen artists and craftspeople who sew, weave, knit, paint, throw, spin, felt, and bead, making beauty from nature's raw materials.

Vendors will have handmade wreaths and ornaments; one-of a kind cards; beautiful and useful hand-sewn gifts of all kinds; perfectly sweet stocking stuffers like honey, jam, fudges and maple syrup products; beeswax candles; unique pottery items; wool and alpaca yarns and products, including small stocking stuffers; jewelry, artwork and other wonderful gift items.


Shoppers can pick up an official Shop Hop "bookmark” at a special tent on Lafayette Park (9 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.) or at one of the ten participating small businesses to be eligible to win one of eight beautiful gift baskets.
