NEW BERLIN — The 4-H Ribbon Wranglers will be hosting the annual Christmas Tea fundraiser event with all proceeds to benefit the hurricane relief efforts in Tennessee and North Carolina.

The auction will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., December 6, located at the Chobani Community Center in New Berlin on South Main Street.

"Every year, 4-H holds an annual Christmas tea fundraiser where items made by kids or donated by folks in the community are auctioned off,” said Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Chenango 4-H Youth and Families Supervisor Ag Literacy Coordinator Kristi Gorrell.

She said anyone is welcome to come and the event is free of charge and said the tea is also a way to say thank you to all of the volunteers that donate their time to 4-H.

Gorrell asked that attendees bring a gently used or new item to be auctioned off as this is the highlight of the event.
