WATERVILLE – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls basketball team enters the 2024 season as a much younger team this year after losing a handful of seniors last season. The team started strong with a 36-17 victory over Waterville on Saturday afternoon, showcasing a promising blend of returning players and new talent.
Both teams were slow at the start until S-E pounced with their best 13 points in the second quarter. The second half was steady as S-E held on to its lead with good defensive play.
