NORWICH — The Norwich Theater Company, Inc. (NTCI) is spreading holiday cheer with a free Christmas concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 20 in the Martin W. Kappel Theater at the Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich.

"The program will consist of Christmas songs, old and new. Most of the songs will be familiar to many," said NTCI President Marty Kuhn.

The concert is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served after the show.

NTCI is also welcoming anyone who would like to perform. Kuhn said individuals do not need to audition to be a part of the show. Individuals who would like to participate can contact her at marty@norwichtheatercompany.org to sign up.

The show will feature a variety of Christmas songs, and possibly some dancing. However, Kuhn said there won't be sets or elaborate dance numbers like you might find in a musical. Instead, the main focus is on having fun and celebrating the holidays.
