BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats and the Unadilla Valley/GMU/Norwich Storm bowling teams met for a MAC league match on Tuesay at Galaxy Bowl. The UV/GMU/Norwich boys came away with a 3-2 win with the girls winning 5-0 outright.
The B-G boys took the first two games while UV/GMU/Norwich won the last game and took the overall series 3117-3016. Brayden Prentice was a big difference maker in this matchup for the Storm as he rolled an all-around high of a 711 series, including a 224, 222, and a 265 game. Dawson Robinson finished with a 655 with the highest game of a 267. UV/GMU/Norwich had four scores of 224 or more to take the third game.
B-G’s Jacob Lyle led the team with a 672 with a 227 and a 257 in the first two games. Ryan Larsen rolled a 214 and a 201 to finish with a 608 series.
Shelby Rose led the Storm with a 492 series with her highest game of a 181 in the final game. Natalie Smith had a 466 series as Lee Clipston finished with a 430 series, where she had the team’s highest game of a 184.
B-G’s Kassidy Middleton finished with a 403 series as Sophie Gold rolled a 371 and Tabitha Doyle had a 370 series.
UV/GMU/Norwich heads to Hancock’s Fox Bowl to face Deposit on Friday while B-G heads to Sidney on Thursday at 3:45 p.m.
