FRANKLIN – After defeating Norwich on Tuesday night, the BGAH Bears wrestling team traveled to Franklin to compete against Unatego/Franklin/Unadilla Valley. Unatego came out on top 42-32.

Colton Hurlburt and Silas Greenman came away with forfeits for the Bears as Frank Parsons and Colton Ryan were the lone pin victors. Blaise Loya won by technical fall as Elliott Briggs won in a close 5-4 decision.

UV’s own Wyatt Meade pinned BGAH’s Devon Rowe in 3:30 in the 190 weight class. Former Norwich High School wrestler Yanni Drapaniotis, now for the Spartans had a quick 41 second pin against BGAH’s Chris Moyer at 215.
