SOUTH OTSELIC – The Otselic Valley Lady Vikings played their third straight home game with a league matchup against Brookfield on Wednesday night. The Vikings fell short 39-30, dropping to 2-3 in the first five games of the season.

Both teams started out strong, but Brookfield maintained the lead throughout the entire game with OV struggling to make a big offensive run. Miranda Hackett led the Vikings with 16 points, after being limited in the previous game vs UV. She also added six steals and five rebounds.

Abiana White had six points, five steals, and four rebounds while Gracie Rooker added four points and Katie Kenyon contributed with one basket for two points.
