CHENANGO COUNTY ― A McDonough man who admitted to causing the death of 44-year-old Jesse L. Donlin and attempting to conceal his crimes was sentenced to eight years in prison on Dec. 16 in Chenango County Court.

William D. Sabines Jr., 41, pleaded guilty on Oct. 15 to first-degree manslaughter and concealment of a human corpse in connection with Donlin’s death, which occurred in September 2019.
