SCHENECTADY –The Oxford Blackhawks girls basketball team traveled to Union College to play against Section II, Class C's Hoosic Valley in the Coaches vs Cancer game.

Oxford came away with a 37-21 win to improve to 5-2 on the season. It was an all-around team effort for the Blackhawks as all 10 players scored in the victory.

Paige Rickard led Oxford with 11 points as Emily Holbert finished with six points.

Oxford (5-2) will play in the Maine-Endwell Holiday tournament over the weekend of December 27 and 28.
