Bainbridge Chamber Of Commerce Offers Updates, Good-will Resources, And Thanks The Community

BAINBRIDGE — Each week, the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce provides community information and vital resources for residents in the area.

The Bainbridge Food Pantry at the United Methodist Church, 27 N. Main Street, is open Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Assistance is primarily for families in the Bainbridge-Guilford school district and nearby areas without food pantries. Emergency support is available by calling 607-967-7383.

The Bainbridge Soup Kitchen, also at the United Methodist Church, serves takeout lunches every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Meals are curbside, and no reservations are required.

The Office of Mental Health Emotional Support Helpline is available daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 1-844-863-9314.

The Blessing Box at the United Presbyterian Church of East Guilford offers non-perishable food, fresh produce, and hygiene items 24/7 at a drive-up location in the church parking lot. Donations of food and hygiene items are encouraged.

The Bainbridge Rotary Blood Drive will take place on December 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bainbridge Town Hall.

The Bainbridge Town Hall Theatre is hosting the Susquehanna String Band on Friday, January 3, at 7 p.m. Known for their dedication to American traditional music, the band features Rick Bunting, Dan Duggan, and John Kirk, all accomplished musicians who blend individual talent into a dynamic ensemble. The theatre gallery is currently featuring works by Rod Sutton.

The HELLO 2025 celebration, hosted by the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Thursday, January 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bainbridge Community Center, 5 Prospect Street. The event includes beer, wine, and light appetizers. All are welcome, and RSVPs are requested by January 3 via bainbridge.chamber@yahoo.com.
