BAINBRIDGE – On Friday night, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys basketball team hosted Afton for a MAC league matchup. B-G fired up in the first half and settled in on a comfortable lead to win 64-30.
The first quarter saw both teams committing early turnovers by trying to get to their side of the court quickly. Rebounding was a strength for both teams, especially under the basket throughout the game. B-G also had success with steals from Jaedan Walling and Michael Lipani.
B-G took a 41-12 lead at halftime from a 29 point second quarter, which saw many three’s, especially from Colin Dailey and Aidan Haynes.
Afton’s Ryan Wright, Dion and Bo Bushaw helped the Crimson Knights finish strong in the fourth quarter with the team’s best 12 points.
