ITHACA – The Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton, Norwich, Oxford-Greene, and Unadilla Valley indoor track teams competed at the Hurley Invitational held at Ithaca College over the weekend. The BGA girls tied with Union-Endicott for 11th place while UV took 14th, Norwich in 21st, and Oxford-Greene did not place.
The Norwich boys came in eighth as BGA finished 12th and UV in 23rd.

Girls:
Starting off, the 4x200 meter relay team took eighth as Kathleen Charette, Kaylee Biriki, Breegan George, and Makayla McCloud finished in a time of 2:00.46 to lead the BGA girls as a team.
McCloud led the Bears individually with a third place finish in the long jump with a jump of 16 feet, four inches, a new personal best and finished sixth in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.70 seconds.
Tabitha Charette led BGA in the 1500 meter race walk, where she came in fourth place with a new best time of 9:25.14. Olivia Hall followed in fifth place as Lucia Hall took 11th and Madison Joslin in 14th.
Tabitha also competed in the 600 meter run, where she finished 48th, setting another new best time of 2:22.55 with teammate Laila Williams in 22nd. Carly Finch ran to a 52nd place finish in the 300 meter dash with Kathleen Charette in 44th and Jordan Phillips in 56th.
