OXFORD – After taking fifth in the Elinsky tournament, the Oxford-Greene wrestling team returned home to take on Deposit-Hancock in a dual meet. Prior to the meet, Oxford honored its two seniors; Colten Button and Dylan Bowers. Congratulations gentlemen. The Greene seniors will be honored at their respective gym on January 15.

Oxford-Greene picked up 48 points, which included four forfeits. David Dunkel, Tallan Davis, Orion Lamen, and Dawson Parks all received wins by forfeits. Aiden Marcin earned Oxford-Greene’s first pin win on the evening in 1:10 in the 160 weight class before Urijah Dibble came away with a 1:59 pin in the 215 weight class. Eighth grader Mason Reed picked up a quick :26 pin while Kade Mustin came away with his 21st win of the season to improve to 21-5 as he won by a 2:47 pin and Ryder Hitt won by a 1:53 pin in the exhibition matches.
