S-E Wrestlers Defeat Walton/Delhi

DELHI – Following their runner up performance at the Oneonta Rotary tournament, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves wrestling team traveled to Delhi to take on Walton/Delhi in a non-league matchup. S-E came away with a 37-29 victory.

After winning his first varsity tournament championship, seventh grader Drew Telesky picked up his 18th win of the season in a 10-0 major decision. Jackson Moore improved to 11-4 on the season with a 1:10 pin as Trenton Anderson wasted no time with a quick :13 pin.

Cody Clarkson won a close 8-7 decision while Aiden Kiehn is now 9-1 as he won by a 1:40 pin. Richie Fuller received a forfeit in the 215 class while Landon Andrade had a quick :50 pin and is now 16-2.

Gabbi Naylor, Gibson Sherwood, and J.j Fischer picked up wins in the exhibition matches.

S-E hosts Canastota this evening at 6 p.m.
