SHERBURNE – After a heart-breaker against Canastota, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls basketball team hosted Herkimer for a CSC division I matchup. S-E fought back late in the game, but dropped a tough 49-42 game.

S-E was good at the long ball threes to get started with Claire Barth having nine points in the first half with three three-pointers. Alyse Brown also added a few threes to the mix.

However, the long ball diminished as S-E couldn’t finish and the ball was stolen by the defense.
