CHENANGO VALLEY – After picking up some great MAC league wins, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys basketball team had their hands full with a tough STAC Chenango Valley team. B-G tried their best to keep up with CV, but efforts fell in the 63-46 deficit.
The Bobcats are still looking good as they are tied for second in the MAC with a 3-1 league record and sit at 7-4 overall.
It was a hot start for both teams, going head-to-head in the first quarter, tied at 13. CV picked up the pace before the break and held B-G to nine points to take a 27-21 lead.
B-G got back on track in the third quarter, but CV held and secured a more comfortable lead in the final eight minutes, pumping out 22 points. B-G couldn’t keep things going as they were held to single-digit scoring in the fourth quarter.
