BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ basketball team hosted Delhi for a tough MAC contest on Thursday night. B-G fell 49-33, but are still going strong with a 7-4 record with several league standing ties at the moment.
Both teams came to play, especially in the first half. Delhi took a brief 27-21 lead at halftime and only returned stronger after the break.
B-G was held to single-digits in the second half, where they could not make any type of run offensively and could not stop Delhi’s Danielle Ennist, who had a big game with 23 points.
Jayslin Henderson and Emma Kinter both led B-G with nine points. Kinter added a couple of three-pointers and Henderson was consistent in both the second and third quarters. She had three of the team’s four points after the break.
