NORWICH - The Chenango County 4-H is collaborating with Chenango County Youth Bureau for its fourth year to provide outdoor opportunities for youth, ages eight and up.
The program will offer a range of outdoor adventures in different locations throughout winter.
Kicking off the joint venture will be a cross-country ski outing, designed to teach youth techniques and tips while gliding across snow covered trails. The program will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 25, at Friends of Rogers, located at 2721 NY-80, Sherburne, NY.
"The cross-country ski program will be one of many this season and the Youth Bureau funding allows us to offer these free programs and equipment rental at Friends of Rogers," said Cornell Cooperative Exchange (CCE) Natural Resource Educator and 4-H Leader Erica Clark.
