WATERTOWN – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves wrestling team traveled to Jefferson Community College on Monday for the Section III, Division II Dual Meet Championship. The Timberwolves are section II, division II champions! It is S-E’s fourth big dual event victory of the season, but this championship win marks history as S-E has never had a team qualify to enter the tournament, let alone win it as well. Congratulations, everyone.

S-E defeated Adirondack by a score of 38-24, won against Holland Patent 50-17, and earned the 40-27 win over Little Falls to win the championship. S-E now moves on to the State dual meet tournament at the SRC Arena on February 1.

S-E resumes its regular season dual meet schedule on Wednesday at Mount Markham at 6 p.m.
