SYRACUSE – Over the weekend, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves indoor track teams competed in the CSC league championship held at Onondaga Community College. The S-E girls took third behind Clinton and Little Falls and the boys also took third amongst the CSC 1 division, behind Clinton and Canastota.

Girls:

In the team relays, the girls 4x800 meter relay took second with a time of 13:40.18, behind Clinton’s 13:37.70. The team consisted of Hannah Barth, Lydia Brown, Marlie Thompson, and Samantha Garrison.

The 4x400 team took third with a team of Barth, Brown, Garrison, and Aurora Burk. Burk, Barth, Beyla Cron, and Samantha Markiewicz finished fifth in the 4x200.

Avery Solloway led S-E individually with two top finishes in the 300 meter dash and in the long jump. Solloway achieved a new personal best of 46.22 seconds in the 300 meter dash, which leads the S-E girls indoor track program, and had a new best jump of 13 feet, 11 inches in the long jump. She also took fifth in the 55 meter dash with a time of 8.09 seconds, which also leads the S-E girls indoor program as well.
