DELHI – The Oxford Blackhawks boys basketball team were on a six-game win streak, going into one of their toughest matchups against defending league champs Delhi. It was a competitive battle, which the Bulldogs came away with the 63-53 win and continues to sit atop the MAC with an unbeaten league record.

Oxford moves to 5-2 in the league, tied for third with Unatego/Franklin.

Oxford’s Donovan Rickard and Gordon Smith both scored 11 points in the loss. Rickard averages 19.2 points per game.

Oxford (8-4) hosts Unatego/Franklin on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
