Local NY Rep. Lemondes attends energy and environmental conservation budget hearings Assemblyman John Lemondes (R,C-LaFayette) attended a joint press conference in 2024 to call out the unacceptable and persistent release of cop-killers by the New York State Parole Board. ALBANY - Assemblyman John Lemondes (R,C-Lafayette) took part in an Energy and Environmental Conservation Budget Hearing in Albany yesterday.

Lemondes and his colleagues discussed important issues impacting our state including clean water infrastructure, the Sustainable Future Program and the extension of the Youth Hunting Program. Since taking office, Lemondes has been a strong advocate for protecting New York’s environment through common-sense initiatives and is committed to continuing his work during this year’s session.

“As a farmer and an avid outdoorsman, I know firsthand how important preserving the environment is for our state,” said Lemondes. “During my time in Albany, I’ve been one of the strongest voices for protecting our woodlands and waterways. I’m proud to be able to work alongside my colleagues in the state Assembly to ensure Central New York is protected for generations to come.”

John Lemondes is the Republican and Conservative Assemblyman for the 126th Assembly seat, which consists of parts of Cayuga and Onondaga counties.
