GMU boys honor seniors in close win vs Stamford/Jefferson

GILBERTSVILLE – The Gilbertsville-Mount Upton boys and girls basketball team hosted a doubleheader for senior night on Monday evening. The boys came away with the 40-38 victory, where freshman forward Darren Ruiz scored the final points with 1.6 seconds left and Stamford/Jefferson missed the shot at the buzzer.
