UTICA – After a close win against Canastota, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys basketball team traveled to Utica Academy of Science on Monday, where they fell 71-43 to the Atoms. The Atoms swept the two-game series.
S-E was held up in the first quarter to six points, while UAS did not skip a beat to fire up with 18 points in those opening minutes. The Timberwolves got back on track but could not stop the Atoms to turn the game around completely.
S-E was led by Nick Hull with a team-high 19 points with three three-pointers. Garret Winton followed with 13 points as Isaac Porchea had four points and Charlie Potrzeba with three.
